All outta Love...

Ah well. I am official unemployed. Kind of sort of. At least for a few days. Today was my last day at work here in Sydney and another part of this life wrapped up. A bit sad... but still exciting. Some lovely words were spoken and I feel like I left on the right note. Apparently I swear a lot? really? What the fuck? Bullshit! O. Ok. Maybe. Hmmm.

Suki came into the agency as a bit of a guest star and seemed to be quite the hit. I wish I had brought her in earlier as she was quite well behaved and didn't cause any dramas at all. Cass and I then took her out for her last 'King St' dinner - Italian Bowl pasta on the footpath followed by her favourite gelato. She had pizza for lunch so wasn't very interested in the food. In fact she was completely exhausted by today and collapsed in my arms by 9pm. She is now snoring away all snuggled up with Nova (her cat friend) on my bed. They are both being very sooky.

Tomorrow they both go on an extended holiday to Yass. Should be a big change for them. Tonight is the last little night in my Newtown house and I'm not even a little bit sad. In fact I am anxious for tomorrow to come all ready. After 5 years here it is well and truly time to go and the last week has left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth. Luckily, the universe is once again smiling on me and the girl who was meant to pick up my bed had to delay til tomorrow so I get to spend my last night in my own bed. :)

I have to race around tomorrow and pick up fun things like tickets and visa's and get my typhoid and tetanus shots etc. Luckily I have hired a little car to zoom zoom around in. Should be kind of fun. In fact this whole process is kind of fun. I just wish it was Wednesday already so I could be on that plane.

Anyway.... here's some more pics from the last few days. Some things that I will miss... and some things that I won't.

I won't miss... St Peter's train station... especially when I've just missed the train.

I will miss... arriving at Circular Quay station every morning.

I won't miss... Suki always wanting to eat human food.

I will miss.... L.O.V.E...

...especially the lovely view.

I won't miss... having to sit outside in the cold because of Suki.

I will miss... Hanging out on King St having dinner with Cass and Suki.

I won't miss... having to choose between all the yummy flavours... and then having to share with Suki.

I will miss... the best gelato in the world!

and of course... we will all miss Suki.
